  • It is the policy of DYFED REINFORCEMENTS Limited to manufacture and supply reinforcing steel products that fully meet customers' specified requirements, and to deliver these products on time.
  • DYFED REINFORCEMENTS is committed to high levels of product quality, and to maintaining a quality organisation with trained and capable personnel and a good working environment.
  • In order to achieve an efficient operation and to maintain customer confidence, DYFED  REINFORCEMENTS understands the importance of conformance to a recognised Quality Management System and is thus committed to retaining ISO 9001:2008 registration for its manufacturing operations.
  • It is DYFED REINFORCEMENTS policy to establish good relationships with its customers, to provide goods and services, which offer value for money, to continually review and improve Company quality systems, and thus achieve a reputation for excellence in the marketplace.
  • This policy is fully understood and endorsed by the Managers and staff of DYFED REINFORCEMENTS. Signatures have been logged on a Quality policy record form retained on file

HEALTH AND SAFETY STATEMENT

It is the policy of Dyfed Reinforcements Ltd. to develop a positive health and safety culture throughout the organisation because we believe that high health and safety standards are a pre-requisite in the pursuit of company efficiency and competitiveness.

To achieve this the company will progressively identify all workplace hazards and take appropriate measures to eliminate or control risks to employees and others affected by our operations by applying positive control standards and provision of information, training and supervision as needed.

Employees are reminded that they have a duty to ensure that the company's Health and Safety Policy is observed and in particular they are required:-

  • To take reasonable care for their own health and safety at work and of those who may be affected their actions, or by their omissions.
  • To co-operate with their employer to ensure that any duty, or requirement, for health and safety imposed upon their employer by law is performed or complied with.
  • Not  to intentionally, or recklessly, interfere with or mis-use anything provided in the interests of health & safety.
  • To report to supervisory staff hazardous conditions or defects in the company safety arrangements.
  • Dyfed Reinforcements will endeavor to comply with all Health and Safety standards policies and procedures on all customer sites so far as possible practical.
    • To achieve this all vehicles and trailers will comply with the applicable legislation to ensure that Health and Safety will be maintained on site.
    • Safety Trailers with the correct handrails fixed according to the companies standards will be supplied when and where requested.
    • All drivers will be briefed with regards to the Health and Safety standards and any special requirements from site.

The company recognises that it has the ultimate legal responsibility for health and safety.  Accordingly the Chief Executive accepts overall responsibility for policy formulation and implementation.  In turn, all levels of management and all supervisors are responsible for carrying out those health and safety duties placed on them.

The director responsible for safety in Dyfed Reinforcements Ltd. will be the Managing Director who will ensure that the safety plan includes sufficient resources for the successful implementation of the Health and Safety Management Policy.

Where appropriate the monitoring and review of the Health and Safety Management Policy will be carried out by the Health and Safety Management Committee under the direction of the director responsible for health and safety within the Company who will be appointed from time to time by the Chief Executive of Dyfed Reinforcements .The present incumbent being Herman van Rensburg General Manager. Dyfed Reinforcements.

Development of the Health and Safety Management Policy will be conducted through the normal business meetings where health and safety will be given standing equal to other activities of the business.

The company will appoint a number of competent persons to assist the company directors implement this policy. The Safety Officer's role is to provide independent and authoritative advice to managers with individual responsibilities for health and safety.
